Message	hear the detonation, real damage is occuring inside the engine at that point. You need to have detonation detecting equipment to listen for it, not your own ears. I'm guessing the OP is detonating on 15 or 16 psi when he runs 91 octane. The only way for it not to be is if he has low compression, in which case the higher boost may not produce detonation.
